my momma

My first blog attempt. Not sure what to do but my girls just tell everyone about
their day.

My mother got really sick last weekend. She waited until Monday 2 go 2 the dr.
The dr. put her in the hospital immediately. It seemed she was bleeding internally and when they did a MRI they found a huge mass. The whole family
was on pins & needles until she had her surgery. By the grace of God they were
able to remove the mass & put her intestines back together good as new. We
now just wait for the biopsy which will be next wk.

As I was visiting my mother b4 surgery, I looked at her and saw a lady with
beautiful white hair. How did my mother get old. Just yesterday it seemed as
though she was still in her 50's. It just hit me that she can't be in her 50's bcuz
I am 56. I dont' know about U but I still think of my self as being much younger
than that. But guess what my oldest child has just turned 37 2day. What happened????

I guess what I'm tryng 2 say is that none of us think of ourselves as old but reality sets in when you almost lose your mother & oh my gosh she is 81...
Thank God he dcided not to take her yet! Thank you Jesus for letting me have
more time to tell her how much I love her. I haven't been the greatest dthr
in the world.
